Alessandra Naccarato is a writer, performer and teacher based in Vancouver, B.C. Winner of the 2015 Bronwen Wallace Award, the Reader’s Choice Award for the 2014 CBC Poetry Prize, and Event Magazine’s 2014 Creative Non-Fiction Award, her writing has appeared across Canada and the United States. She has toured nationally and internationally as a spoken word artist, worked with thousands of youth across the country, and is currently completing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia.
